I was made aware of a Facebook page for Post Production veterans of the 80's and it has a memoriam section about those who have passed away. Damn near half of the people I started with in the industry are gone and some way younger than myself. So many company names I remember, many that I freelanced for and they too are gone. 

I think about stuff like this a lot. I am always shocked, when I learn about someone I know or worked with who passed away.

Just last week, I tried to look up a guy who had a fishing tackle shop. Cool dude, always helpful… turns out he passed away a few years back and he was younger than me.

I guess China had to approve the payout.  They saw Tank was nice to some Chinese exchange students, so they approved it.  But only after they verified his information via a hack.

So I was talking with my buddy, at the casino, and there was a wheel of fortune slot machine.  I asked him if he remembers when on wheel of fortune you had to buy items with the money you bought.  He said no.  He's older than me.

 One of the few reasons my wife is OK with Prime Rib for Christmas Dinner is eventually I make the leftovers into chili. So damn good and this time I raised the heat level another notch by adding in roasted yellow chilis with the Ancho, Chipotle, Cumin and Garlic. 

She likes it with fresh onion, radishes, cilantro and cheese. I'm good with chopping up a little of that roasted yellow chili and cilantro. 

Great meal on a cold night while watching Oregon vs Oaklahoma.

Friday afternoon. New Years Eve. 2021 decides to take one last shot at me. Flat tire in the grocery store parking lot. In the rain. But my neighbor and her girlfriends see me and send their driver over to hold the umbrella for me and the even bought me much at Raising Canes. I've had worse days. I've had worse years. Our K-12 principal announced this morning that he's leaving at the end of the school year. He's been a good man for these past four years, a very spiritual man. I'll miss him. Hope we find a new principal that knows what they're doing.

Now that was a first.  Got a "Toll Free Call" on my phone just a second ago.  Of course, didn't answer it, then a message popped up.  I was expecting the usual warranty or whatever bs call.  It was some app like find your doggie or something like that.  Reporting a lost dog in my area, and to be on the lookout for him and that there was a reward.  Complete with description of the dog and name.  

Interesting spam.  But at least this one was kind of worth it.
