I am thrilled to tell you that "A. Dewey Crowe" was selected by one student. I'm also hugely disappointed. It was from a student that stopped doing work in my class because she had "other work to do that was important."

Yeah, that went over real well.

I also had two boys cheat on the question "What are four names used by the North during the Civil War?"

They used the following highly common answers: North Star, Upward, Skyward, and Increase

The principal and I will be speaking with them tomorrow about it. What makes it even better, is that they both attend my church and I attended the baptism for one of them. The Dewey Crowe girl also attends my church. I'm starting to sense a problem here . . .

Some days work feels like a soccer game. The final product is the goal but it really doesn't matter because the clock keeps counting upwards and you never know exactly how much time they are adding on because of indecision so there really is no end in sight. I want the game to be over and don't really care if it ends in a tie or loss, I'm just tired of running back and forth without any end in sight.

Maybe you should try faking a leg injury every few hours and see if that helps.
