So has anyone received an order from amazon out of the blue for no reason whatsoever?

I just received a package of a cheap caculator.  Addressed to me.  Has an invoice in it and everything.  Talked to amazon, and gave them the order information, and someone apparently bought and gifted me this calculator.  Of all things, a calculator.  I mean why not a hooker or blow or at least a usb card full or porn.  Hopefully they up their game and send me a big screen tv next.  But such a strange thing to receive.

So an update on this.

I sold something on Ebay, and the person that bought it said there was something wrong with it.  So after some dialogue back and forth, I accepted it for return.  Did the label and everything and heard nothing for a week and a bit.  No tracking, no that they printed the label.

Then I get an email today that said I received the item and opened a complaint for a refund.  Apparently, Ebay just takes the buyers word for it, and refunded him and closed the complaint within minutes.

Of course I bitched and said I didn't receive it, and after a lot of back and forth, got a tracking number they claimed shows I received the product back.  And of course, they used the tracking number of the item they anonymously gifted to me from Amazon.  Luckily, I kept the package, packing slip and item, and sent all that information to Ebay.  And they sent me a form I had to sign that stated that what they sent was false.  Should be a slam dunk in my favor, but if anyone has dealt with Ebay, you know sellers are pretty screwed.

So like some of you else I have been working from home these past 6 months. Every day I hear one of my neighbors practicing the theme song from Jurassic Park on the piano. Every day over the last 6 months it sounds like it's their first time playing the Jurassic Park theme song on the piano.

A US man in Thailand who was arrested for writing a negative hotel review will avoid legal action and jail time.

Wesley Barnes had posted several reviews allegedly accusing the Sea View Resort of "modern day slavery".

He was subsequently detained and charged under Thailand's strict anti-defamation laws.

In a world where sleaze bags call themselves influencers, basically holding hotels and resorts for ransom for good reviews, Thailand takes abuse of internet reviews seriously and slapped this guy hard.

I had the empty box inside a box happen. They wanted the empty box back for some reason so I printed out the return label, repackage the empty box in the original box and three days later got a refund. It made no sense but it didn't cost me anything so what the hell.

bought some new jockey boxer briefs - moisture wicking, odor absorbant, etc. Was surprised to discover there's no fly that opens on them, which I didn't realize until I headed to bathroom earlier this evening. I don't think I've had underwear like this since ever.

and yes, I checked to see if I had accidently put them on backwards. I didn't.

I don't know why this popped in my head.  But it did.  Most people probably don't know what a "Blue Light Special" is.  And those that do are probably old.

You know why Michael Jackson liked to shop at KMart?

because all boys pants were half off.

I only know of those from that Brady Bunch episode.

I believe those were Checker Trading stamps, and yep, Tiger the dog was stealing them.

I remember being a kid and my parents would bowl in a Tuesday night bowling league.  It was "Blue Chip Stamp" night or something, and they came home with a bunch of those stamps.  You had to lick them and put them in the books, then go to the redemption store and trade for stuff.  I remember there was a redemption store in Covina.

That was before people realized that they could use a damp sponge.
