Cargo and Tulo?

Do you see either of them being moved at all this off season? Whats the cost, taking into account their contacts and injury-prone resume? Any team that you see going after them? With jeter gone, any chances the Yankees could go after tulo, despite the injuries? Dont know much about the yankees farm or what they could offer Colorado..

The Yankees don't have the prospects to get Tulo. The Red Sox absolutely do, but they might be happy with Boegarts at shortstop. I think Boegarts, Betts, and their best pitching prospect probably gets it done. Colorado isn't close to contending and needs to get value for Tulo while they can

 

Edit: Forgot the Red Sox signed Hanley Ramirez. Boy are they stupid for giving that contract...Hanley is a horrible defender at short

As far as games played Tulowitzki is worse going 47, 126, and 91. Players have no value when they can't take the field which make neither of these guys worth much, certainly not worth their salaries.

Hanley won't be playing short for them. He'll be in left field. They're going all in with Bogaerts (which is probably not a bad idea).

No, no he is not. He has a completely ridiculous contract to 2021 and has played only 3 complete seasons in the 8 he has had as a professional ball player and not one pair was back to back. He is fools gold.

He also has the same exact injury that Arod has been fighting in his hips.   Not really a good thing health wise moving forward.

Can someone please explain how Boston has a great farm system? I thought they signed free agents out the wazoo and then dumped them on the Dodgers, allowing them to sign more free agents.  How can they have a great farm system if they continue to sign free agents for an average of 4-5 years?

 

If they have a great farm, why not go young?  I don't follow farm systems and am truly baffled.

I agree about Tulo, but hope he stays-put for another run in Col. soon.
