you want to talk about an MVP in terms of one player making a difference for a team --

 

check the St. Louis Cardinals 2014 season record in games where Yadier is in the line up and then the games when he was not (on the DL).

 

Hope Yadier recovers from the injury that forced him out of the playoffs (had he been healthy -- it would have been an all Missouri World Series!) and is ready to go for St. Louis next year.

He was worth -1.3 WAR last season as his already bad offense sunk to new levels. He had a .177/.230/.187 line. Even if you include his pitch framing, which was worth 16.9 runs or 1.69 WAR, his overall skill set is still pretty weak. 

 

I still would like to see the Angels possibly take a chance on him. If you can bring him into camp and let him battle with Bandy or Perez for the backup job, I wouldn't have an issue with it.
