Alex Smith's longest pass this season is 34 yards. Sounds about right

And it was probably a dump off and run of 30 yards.

His numbers actually look pretty mediocre....His td/int ratio is solid and I think he's still running at a 66% completion rate.

But yeah, he's usually like 10/16 134 yds. 1 td 0 int.

His numbers are mediocre but he's not far off his per game average from last year when he set a career high for passing yards in a season.  His TD's are down but his completion percentage is up as is his QB rating.  You're getting what you expect from him - a game manager who isn't going to make big throws but he also isn't going to make a lot of mistakes.  Playing for a team that can run the ball and play defense makes his shortcomings less of a factor.

Meanwhile on Sunday, the Rams rejuvenated front 7 (18 sacks in past 5 games) faces a banged up Philip Rivers.

Shaun Hill was very efficient a week ago against the Broncos, and Tre Mason finally showed his Auburn stuff finally with a strong 113 yards on the ground.

Kelce is pretty legit, but yeah, pretty much.

 

You'd figure teams would zone in on Charles over the years and he still gets his.

Pack nearly falling victim to the dreaded trap game. Big game next week against the Pats, though with the Lions loss they can afford another loss so not that big in the grand scheme of things.

Tied for 1st in the pick 'em, but would gladly take losses by Denver and SD.

 

Arrowhead would be mighty interesting next week with Denver coming to town with 1st place on the line.

Denver is reeling. Wanted to pick Miami today but I think I convinced myself to pick Denver since they are at home and coming off an ugly loss...but team's with dominating DLine's will get after Peyton

 

Chiefs would definitely have the edge IMO. They made it tough on Denver in their first match-up

Miami is a sneaky tough team. I have no clue what happened to Denver's D. Thought they were going to be dominant with their FA additions plus having Von Miller all year + Chris Harris returning. They seem to be getting worse with each week

Rams getting screwed on the phantom call on the kick return. That could affect the outcome of the game.

They really need to hold these refs accountable. The end of the game phantom calls that change games are maddening.

Refs may get bailed out if the Rams score a TD here. What the hell has gotten into the Rams?! They are playing great football and are fun to watch. Pretty unpredictable.
