Skirted the issue. He said CJ came unglued but didn't say why. Just said nothing is physically wrong, which we already knew.

So it's either mental or mechanical or some combination of both. I honestly think neither Dipoto, CJ or anyone else really knows what the hell happened to CJ.

Which also unfortunately means they probably have no idea how to fix it either.

Two of CJ's three seasons with the halos have resulted in poor second halves.  Both seasons his meltdown started when the halos were making a playoff push.

His velocity was down in the second half of the season, if it's not physical then it must be mechanical

We owe him a sh*tload of money so what else can I say? CJ has too many distractions. He needs to simplify his delivery a la Madbum. Eay too many movingparts to be able to repeat pitches. I have to close my eyes when he pitches.

Good move by Dipoto. Wilson has a lot of extra activities going on in his life ... that includes a dealership. He needs to have total commitment to his contract with the Angels. I suspect that CJ will pitch better in 2015.
