i posted about this in the florida education thread, but this is a better place for it.

 

i think the intent of the law was to prevent having large areas of homeless people who gathered - i think, based on one of the quotes from the story. maybe it was in a place where the local residents or business owners were tired of them gathering? i don't know. i wonder what alternatives were available to still feed the needy and not break what appears to be a silly law.

Florida. One of the states that's on my standard reply list any time someone tries to quote a made up poll to put down the state you live in. E.g. California education is 48th in the nation.
