i don't know if pennsylvania has the death penalty, but this would seem to be a reasonable time to use it.

I hope they don't get the death penalty. Let them live the rest of their lives in prison general population. A cruel justice will be served there. They will wish they were dead.

I was a long supporter of the death penalty but after giving it more thought, I think I've changed my stance. Not because I think it's wrong to take a scumbag's life but because it's an easy way out for them. I'd rather they wish they were dead.

Well, a life-long prison sentence probably won't do that. They get food, water, and a roof above their heads.

This country will never develop an "eye for an eye" justice system, even though that would probably work out for the better. We only beat and torture people from other countries.

I disagree.

But what I think we agree on is that they deserve a shitty fate. Food, water, and a roof over someone's head doesn't prevent someone from being depressed. I'm not sure if this couple would be put in gen pop, where they would undoubtedly take a beating... or if they would be quarantined, where day after day of doing nothing in a small room would drive anyone mad. If you talk to people who suffer from severe depression with no chance of a turnaround, they'd tell you they would rather be dead. Mental anguish is one of the worst things one can suffer from. A lifetime in the pen would achieve that end, IMO. Death is too good for them.

Yes, but then you have the ACLU step in for cruel and unusual punishment

Hope that yk still has a couple of spots left in his landfill, because these two are richly deserving.
