I'm pulling for the Giants but I think the Royals will come away with it. I'm not sure what the percentage is the home team wins game 7, I think it's something like 70 or 80%, if not more.

I like the Giants and I have stated why I want the Royals to win it all. Either way, I'm good. Would be great to witness a good game, perhaps a walk-off win.

That makes it hard to cheer for SF. But it's not like Raul did anything this year to deserve winning a championship. He was just bad enough to be dropped by one team and picked up by the eventual league champion.

Bill Simmons said he put money on the Royals before the WC at 18/1

 

Not sure that is the play you drop serious coin on, but he will get some lunch money out of it if the Royals win.

Really doubtful if he is gambling with Haralabos Voulgaris (I know him from the poker world), but ESPN did an article on him and claimed he is the best sports handicapper in the US. Haralabos was on one of his previous podcasts.

 

Also, the dude owns Grantland and rumor has it he has a bunch of other successful ventures, including having worked his way up the ESPN corporate tree.
