Simplistic and convenient but wrong. The power vacuums throughout the middle east created either by us or by Arab Spring or even civil wars is what created ISIS and the refusal of the powers in the region to deal with it is what allowed them to proliferate. The Arabs should be left to hash this out among themselves so they can decide what role Islam gets to play in their governments and find a way to curb the radicals as a group. It's still many years and many plot twists from being settled.

The evening seems kind of suspicious.  No make love to wife before beating her?  And was it not Monday night when Monday Night Jihadist was on TV?  Or Tuesday night when Dancing with Jihadist was on?  He could have at least been watching the DIY network on their bombmaking episode.
