That Indio location is a crackup. The line is usually out the door, the drive through line is usually 20 cars deep and the Carl's Jr. next door is always a ghost town.

Even after CalTrans moved the freeway exit 2 streets further away that In N Out is still always packed.

 

One they open the location in La Quinta, the Indio one will quiet down.

So this furthers my argument. Why are they so great? Really if you like Chick-fil-A with a dry bun, chicken embrio micro waved and breaded with one pickle then Texas INO is right up your alley. Dry bun, tiny cow dropping with a pickle then eat away.

If you think they suck because they don't have bacon then I can't change your mind. What most people enjoy or even prefer is that our burger is fresh Kurt. The party was never frozen and was mooing a week ago. The tomatoes are sliced every couple of hours as are the onions, and the lettuce is leafed twice daily. If you got a single pickle on your burger it's because you ordered a burger with a slice of pickle. We only put them on if you request it. As far as being dry, then you chose not to have spread or ketchup and mustard instead. It's also possible I guess that your burger was over cooked, I would suggest ordering it medium rare. Our burgers are delicious because of the freshness and because they are cooked to order. Sorry we didn't impress you, but to compare us to other chains is a joke as it relates to freshness and quality.
