Outrage After Teacher Tells Students to Report Contents of Family Medicine Cabinets

Recommended Posts

If it's part of Common Core, isn't it a government directed movement?

!!!!!!!!!  OMG funniest post ever.

Common Core suggests that kids collect information on the family like what they eat for dinner, if they like dogs or cats, their favorite color.  It is some next level Fox News shit to jump to the conclusion that the government is telling teachers to collect information on what they have in their medicine cabinet.

By the way, I have read and heard so much shit against Common Core.  It is hilarious how people believe everything they read.  Common Core is incredibly successful in many other countries.  The fact is that because our government is such shit here they cut budgets and protest it so the teachers are never properly trained on it.

To be properly executed teachers need 2-3 weeks of training on Common Core.  On average they get one day.

Teachers here disagree with you Nate.

So, you're saying this teacher didn't request the Jr. Hi. students to do that?

it doesn't matter that it is a right wing piece if it really is accurate.

So Teachers = our government?  You really believe that someone in our government told these teachers "Common core is about spying on the parents, lets find the druggies!"

Now that I think of it, Obama must have called this teacher to tell them to do this, right?  Must have been Obama.

So you are believing something you are reading about common core, yes?

Lol, MT.  I pay attention to facts.  In several other countries they have implemented common core and their education quality has increased greatly.  It is tinfoil hat wearing idiots that believe it is some conspiracy to turn the kids against their parents and turn them into spies that has ruined it in this country.  Guess that is what you can expect from a country with worse education than many third world countries.

And yeah, I am sure the department of education told this teacher to have the kids survey what was in the medicine cabinet.  That is why all those other teachers around the country are doing it too.

South Korea, Japan and Switzerland all have the same system.  German, Sweeden, Austria and Japan have very similar systems.

That is exactly what Bruce said, the government is telling teachers to tell kids to spy on their parents medicine cabinets.

There is no way that the same system can work in a country like the U.S. where you have so many different languages and cultures.  The countries you listed are all homogeneous for the most part.  There really is no comparison.  That isn't to say that some ideas that those countries use wouldn't work here but not the whole thing, no way.

Oh, and Bruce did not say that.

He said "Can the government go any further into invasion of our privacy?"

Teachers are no more "the government" than the guy working the counter at the DMV.

And what about common core makes you think that people speaking different languages effects it any more than the way they do education now?

All common core does is it allows kids to learn the way that is most effective for them.
