Why Royals belly-flopped in Game 1

This board has become RoyalsWin I guess, the place where anything negative towards the Royals brings out all of the usual excuses I read for the Angels and why it's never their fault that they lose games. So many hear are afraid that if the KC doesn't win then they have nothing to fall back on as far as saying " At least we lost to the WS champ!"

It's okay. The team lost. Tip your cap and turn the page.

This entire post is nonsense. How bout you go back and look at our threads dedicated to who's to blame for the Angels losing. Guess what doesn't come up much? The Royals. Maybe some of us like the run the Royals were on. Maybe some of us saw that they were playing great. Maybe some like the clutch hits, speed and bullpen they have. If you were to ask me I would much rather the Angels lose to the team that wins it all. But honestly if the Giants win, I can live with that.

They touched the AL trophy as every hockey fan knows, that is why they lost. Or maybe it was just one game. But I'm pretty sure touching the trophy means you have no chance at winning the whole thing. You could roll the 27 Yankees out there and they wouldn't be able to win after touching the AL trophy.

Agreed.

The Royals better take the ice tonight with more focus.
