There are 14 other fan bases in the AL thinking the same thing... I want to have what those fans in KC have right now.  Winning is fun.  Losing sucks. At the end of the day - there will be 29 fan bases that will be disappointed and one that will be crazy happy.

A's final game was a microcosm of their season.

I heard an A's broadcaster who said pretty much the same thing after that game. He said "If you missed the A's 2014 season, tonight was a microcosm of it."

Lester for Cespedes was fine. Gomes as your clean up hitter is a joke.

 

One move he did make that really helped was Soto. 14 Starts, 0 steals allowed.

 

Of course, he gets hurt mid-game and anyone who let a Royal on base (not named Butler or Perez) on base was a sitting duck.

If Gomes at cleanup was a joke, then Lester for Cespedes wasn't fine.
