Once again, the other team either:

 

-makes an error/defensive mistake

 

OR

 

-the opposing manager does something he shouldn't

 

Don't get me wrong, Lackey looked awful the first inning and it was just made worse when he got ahead 0-2 (when those pitches could have been crushed) and he STILL THREW FASTBALLS.

 

Ishikawa's ball would have been out of 28-29 other ball parks, but again...Grichuk had a chance to catch that ball, but he instead decided to concede the three runs just for the hell of it. If he couldn't catch it, Jay was backing up

 

Just like Williams took out Zimmerman when he shouldn't have, Matheny did the same thing with Hudson after he locked the Giants down and his pitch count was 79. What's the point? To get Daniel Desclaso into the game?

 

Yeah, Choate literally throws the game away..but that's one thing the Giants aren't doing. No stupid subs that will come back to bite them later and limited defensive mistakes.

 

Stop handing the Giants the advantage and you'll probably win.
