Posey or Molina

Who would you take of the two catchers? Having an argument with my friend about it so just to compare.

 

If you bother looking at this...is the question for now, for the next 3 years, 5 years, etc?!

If I had to make that choice today, I'd take Posey only because he's younger.  Over the course of their careers, I'd take Molina because I think his advantage on defense is huge and he doesn't hurt you offensively.  I like Molina's leadership qualities and his impact on the pitching staff.  Both are fantastic.  I also would have liked the idea that all of the Molina brothers played in Anaheim.

Well without a doubt Posey is better in the long run, but the argument is in a win now scenario.
