Get overbilled for services and equipment you didn't need and never asked for. 

Complain to cable company.

Company ignores you.

Complain even more.

Company calls your employer.

Employer fires you.

 

I would beg to be on the jury that hears the lawsuit that should come from this.

i once lived in an apartment where the local cable company advertised that we had fox sports as part of our basic package. except, we didn't have fox sports west. called and complained and it fell on deaf ears.

 

my solution? i wrote a letter with my next cable bill and explained their false advertising and their ignoring of my request to get it fixed. i also told them i was taking $5 off my cable bill until they addressed the problem. boy did that get their attention. they called me and talked with me and i explained everything to them. they said they would fix it. they didn't, so i subtracted $5 again the next month. got another phone call from them and they decided to lower my bill and remove the advertising from the flyer.

new CEO has apologized to him. he's suing for big bucks, plus getting his job back.

Taking out all the Comcast crap...because cable companies friggen suck arse and I regularly argue with mine.

 

But take the Comcast side of things out of the equation...If the dude called Comcast accounting offices directly and made veiled threats implying his company PWC, or within his role at PWC, would take it out on Comcast...then he's a friggen moron and of course he was fired. Once he did that he took a personal matter and brought his employer in to the issue. Supposedly those auditing firms are impartial and they can't have their employees going around making threats using the PWC name.

Yeah, he's a moron and comcast looks like douchebags for getting him fired.  He claims he didn't do those things but you have to wonder, I mean he can't be the only guy pissed off at comcast, seems like a long way for comcast to go just to deal with a pissed off customer.

Absolutely, Comcast looks douchey regardless. I can even understand his frustration...but if he went so far as to bring his employer to it..that's just friggen dumb.
