For the first time in a long time, there might be reason to be concerned about Weaver

People see the words "concerned" and "worried" and think that we are declaring Weaver done. Lol.

so if those that are concerned or worried dont think he is done...what is the concern and worry for? if people believe this is simply a short term thing then their should be no cause for worry..

Hopefully it's just a bout of dead arm or something. Weav working 87-89 mph is fine and is what you'd expect him to be at

As far as him changing his arm slot, isn't that how he originally threw anyway? He was forced to go a bit more over the top rather than 3/4 arm slot because of shoulder tightness over the years, but I guess he's doing new exercises that have loosened his shoulder up allowing him to go back to the 3/4 arm slot. I don't think that's the reason for the velocity dip

I'm not concerned that he's done.

I am concerned about whether or not he's still Weaver good if that fastball velocity is gone for good. And that this pitching staff needs Weaver to be Weaver.

he's never had an over-powering fastball though.
