right?

bottom line, whoever the Reps run is irrelevant, even they know it, they part is find crazy is how they talked the guy into it and why he spent any of his own money.

Flop, Republicans don't even have an identity anymore. How could one be elected if they don't have one?

Yeah they are not Republicans but they are also the party of the minorities and women.  It is very clear in their policies.

Republicans have really regressed to just not Democrats.  Their hand has been forced by the Tea Party quite a bit too.

and yet what have they done for either group?  It's a facade.

I feel the same way regarding dems.  Obama won and won again on the platform of "I'm not Bush".  Dems biggest claim is that they aren't reps.

I wish people weren't allowed to put an "R" or a "D" next to their names.  Just run on your own thoughts and ideas.

That would be a great idea MT. I will disagree with you on Obama winning on a "I'm not Bush" platform though. He had a ton of promises and ideas that people like me voted him for said ideas.

I don't want this to get misdirected and turn into an Obama thread. We have one already for that.

I don't feel that Obama won on the "I'm not Bush" platform as that's what Kerry tried to do in 2004 and he failed partly because no one could tell you what he stood for or how he planned to accomplish what he said he would do.  As Tobias said a lot of people bought into Obama being a breath of fresh air, talking about having an honest administration if elected and the list goes on.  The kicker is that if republicans had gotten their shit together 2012 was the perfect chance for them to make a strong come back.  Instead some of the right wing whack jobs had some nice sound bites right before their elections and Romney ran on the "I'm not him" platform that didn't work for Kerry.

On Sunday morning I woke up at 4:30 and worked. Did the same thing yesterday - 16 hours of it in fact. Up again at 4:00 this morning to get in 12 hours in order to go to my son's soccer practice.

My brother in law is on every social program Jerry Brown can give him. He hasn't worked as many hours in five years as I have since Sunday. Jerry Brown thinks my brother in law is a victim and that I should have to pay higher taxes for his social services. I don't agree.

And unions suck, by the way. They are highly unethical businesses that seek to impose their business scheme on those who want no part of it (many of whom are hard working Latinos who are far smarter than the union would ever give them credit for). Unions, and the Democrat party they support, stand for so much that is wrong.

Wait... are we related because that sounds like my two brothers in law.
