This is more like benching Trout than Hamilton. Puig has been productive for the Dodgers during the regular season.

I thought it was funny puig had the nerve to do his asinine bat flip when he finally got a hit. He gets owned all series and when he finally does something of course he goes straight into hot dog mode

This is the answer to our problems.

 

Dodgers go out -- they knock out Mattingly -- then they turn to the halos and buyout/trade for Sosh.  

 

Ideally if we could get an arm for Sosh and a new manager, I'd forget about the last 11 years of failure in the blink of an eye.

if the Dodgers get bounced in this series it seems like a safe bet Mattingly will be gone. He actually seems relatively good at managing egos - that situation could have gotten truly ugly at several point this year. He's just a horrible in-game manager.

So far Puig has two more hits than Trout in this Post Season and just as many RBI. His career playoffs batting line is .314/.364/.412 Dodger fans are not going to like Puig out of the lineup the first time Ethier's arm is challenged.
