Do you think we perform the same against the A's? Do you think the Angels took KC for granted at all?

I think with the way the A's were playing over the last 1-2 months of the season, the Angels would've done better against the A's. I'm sure the Angels didn't take the Royals for granted, but a lot of fans thought it would've been an easier match up for the Angels (I didn't agree).

I don't agree either. I really thought we were going to beat KC in 4 though. Could the Angels have been mentally prepared to play Oakland and then had to switch gears?  

 

I know that's not professional, but it happens.

If you are disappointed now, just think how disappointed we would be had we been swept by the A's.

 

and the A's starting pitching is a lot better than the Royals.  We scored only 5 runs against the Royals.  You really think we would have done better against the A's?

 

In all fairness, I don't think the A's makes those defensive plays.

What I'm saying Storm was the Angels mentally prepared to play KC? If they had their minds on Oakland, they may not have had the offensive problems.

 

Not sure if this is a bad analogy, but in Tombstone, Johnny Ringo was all set to fight Earp when Holliday showed up. Was Holliday faster than Earp? If so, the analogy is crap, but I always thought they were just two separate fighters and Ringo had a mindset for Earp.
