The question doesn't make sense. The offense is 9 people. Scioscia is one.

If I had to pick one man, it is by far Mike Scioscia.

Hamilton is not in game shape and everyone knew it except for him.

#2 would be Mike Trout.

Scioscia gets blame for putting Hamilton on ALDS roster and messing up what was working in September with a guy just off the DL and obviously not ready to play.

 

this was a pretty simple call to make -- I still don't understand it.

 

then -- after watching Hamilton's ABs in Game One -- why isn't he PH for him in his last AB that game ? and then, taking him out of the starting line up for Game Two.

 

Not sure if the Hamilton line up spot alone lost the game/ series but it sure contributed to the major reason the Halos got swept -- the offense didn't show up.

The first two games were winnable with one clutch hit in each. The Angels easily could have been up 2-1 now with Weaver going against Guthrie. It was the offense and particularly the big Three that cost the Angels this series.

A quick look at this team going forward I see a dismal future. Calhoun, Trout, Richards and Shoemaker are the only building blocks. That leaves a ton of holes to fill with a very weak system, especially with position players.
