I don't see that it makes a great deal of difference. He makes about as much contact either way.

1. Will Scioscia remove Freese from the game tomorrow in the late innings if we're behind?

 

2. Will Scioscia call for a bunt with a runner on first with Hamilton on deck and a lefty on the mound?

 

3. Will an Angel baserunner make another jaw-dropping blunder tomorrow at a critical spot in the game?

 

4. How many total hits will Trout/Pujols/Hamilton/Kendrick get? Zero, one, two, or more than two?

 

5. How many swings and misses will Hamilton have in tomorrow's game? Seven or less, or more than seven?

The biggest thing he did this series was hitting Perez with his bat. So no, he could essentially take out their catcher with one swing.

I don't fault Scioscia for replacing Freese for defensive purposes late in the game......

 

he usually Pinch Runs for him when Freese gets on in the late innings..........I thought he should have done that more during the regular season -- so no complaints there.

 

I DO wish it was John McDonald coming on to play third for defense in the late innings but we can only carry 25 guys on the post-season roster.......

 

the expanded roster in September was a real luxury.

It wasn't changed, I merged it with the other poll, very similar topic.  Two threads on the same subject isn't necessary, carry on.
