Intensity

Had a feeling we wanted the A's. Going against a rival would have had more intensity for both the fans and the team. Maybe things would be different. Who knows... But if not, at least we'd have perennial favorites to boo like the Nerd.

The Big Red Machine laughs at how this team prepared for October!

Bug Selig also needs to get rid of the 3 and 4 off days for division champs. We are in danger of seeing two of the four LCS participants be the WCs in each league.

You DON'T schedule the WC games around an event that may NOT happen (tiebreakers).

And why the %_#^. is it in stone that a tiebreaker has to take place for the division when BOTH teams are in already?

Is not a 19 game season series enough of a freaking tiebreaker?

Schedule the WC games BOTH for Monday, and start the LDS' on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of Thursday and Friday.

PUNISH the WCs, don't punish the division champs with 3 or 4 days off and don't allow the WCs to set up their pitchers!

With the exception of Kole Calhoun it seems like the team made the playoffs and vacation plans at the same time. The Royals team just want it more and it's easy to see.

I think you need to add Weaver, Shoemaker, Smith, Grilli, and Iannetta to your exception list.

How about Freese? He's doing his job, and gets punished by being removed from both games.

You had me at the, beginning and lost me at the end. While I disagree with Scioscia removing Freese I can least understand it, and it wasn't punishment. That said, I've often made comments like that in the past.
