First timer! 

Reasons: the years that we went to the playoffs in recent history i was in college on the other side of the country. When I was a kid we were poor and lived 4 hours north of Anaheim. We went to one or 2 regular season games a year but there weren't a LOT of playoff games to attend in the 90's.

I was 16 in 2002 and I listened to those playoffs on the radio with my dad. One of my favorite father-daughter memories. 

Now that i'm in San Diego and can kind of afford bad tickets! I'm THERE.

Tomorrow night will be my first playoff game. I lived in another state for 15 years from 1991-2006. I didn't go in 2008 or 2009 because I was out of the country both years. I was a teenager in '86 and envious of my friends who did get to go and of those who secured their World Series tickets that year. This is my first real opportunity. Stoked to get to Shoemaker in his first.

last game I went to was game 3 of the ALDS against Boston in 2007. The Garret Anderson pinkeye/Reggie Willits at clean-up game. The most depressed that stadium has ever been for a playoff game I'm guessing (ok, maybe 1986). All I remember is aswarm of Boston fans with huge banners congregating behind the visitor's dugout in the last couple innings, celebrating. Worst. playoff game. ever. Haven't been back since. You're all welcome.

Sat down the LF line in the view level for the 2002 ALCS clincher.

 

Also saw ALCS game 1 in 2008 from a suite.

 

Same in 2002.  ALDS and ALCS clincher.

 

Not going this time though.  I went to a couple games in 08 also.
