You mean other than he got the start on Sunday and came in relief yesterday after just 1 day of rest?

Game 2 might not be out of the question, but I'd imagine they would want to get him a little more rest than that. I'd say he would ideally for them go Game 3, but with Shields being available to go that game on normal rest, it's possible he could get pushed back to Game 4.

I'd rather face Ventura in KC. Greater chance he'll be over-amped again with the fans and the atmosphere. I could see him being much more focused and tougher to face on the road (just speaking in terms of the pressure of the playoffs).

I havent seen anything about Duffy starting game one. They still havent announced a starter much like the Angels have no idea whos going in game 2.

Again though, what Ventura did last night was like throwing between starts.  

Starting Friday night would give him his normal rest with throwing between starts. 

And he pitched well in September (2.42 ERA).
