They shouldn't player the starters in the Wildcard playoff in case one gets injured and can't play in the divisional playoffs. And at that you may want to consider benching key players so they are available for the World Series.

getting some grounders.  four pitch walk to Jackson and two of the pitches were clearly in the zone.

It's not just a matter of "throw strikes" with CJ. He needs to throw "better" balls.

The balls that he throws don't even tempt the hitter. Good pitchers throw plenty of pitches outside the zone, but they are close enough to get some whiffs or weak contact outs.
