We can't afford to have another 8 inning BP game, the relievers are already running on fumes

Orioles lost today -- that's a relief.

 

Mariners got shelled by Toronto -- it was 13 to 2 or something last time I looked.

 

KC beat Cleveland but also lost the continuation of that extra inning game that was suspended about a month ago or so......so they won one and lost one today.

 

I think Detroit lost.

 

A's win would help them right the ship after a month long slide.

It's funny that they were talking about who we could use on through playoff roster. Do we go with extra bats or extra arms. At this point we don't have the luxury of extra bats. We need as many arms as we can get since our SP besides Weaver is complete garbage now.

Agreed. It'll take a lot. Bats will need to be hot all month and they'll have to overuse the pen, which has already been overused.

 

Really no sense having any of their key relievers pitch this game. Let Rucinski/Roth eat up some innings and then let BBedrosian/Diaz finish this out. Thsi team basically has 3 bullpen days with CJ/Santiago in the rotation

Best case scenario shoemaker is ready for game 3. More likely, he isn't ready til the ALCS, if they make it

because he's pretty stingy with hits and runs and we'll need to get to the pen to break through.........

 

4 to 1 now, we may not have time to get this done -- but since Wilson's meltdown was in the FIRST INNING - it's real early yet.
