Is it possible that LeBlanc can steal away an ALDS roster spot, if he has another solid 5+ innings outing on Tuesday night?

If they want an extra lefty, Thatcher isn't exactly inspiring me.

No chance they use him as a situational lefty. He has been worse against lefties throughout his career. (He was better this year in AAA and he thinks that's why he had such a good year down there, but we'll see if it translates.)

If Shoemaker is unavailable though, he has a good shot at making it.

I think LeBlanc and/or Rucinski has a shot at an ALDS roster spot, especially if Shoemaker can't return.

Considering that Rucisnki is the only healthy player on the 40-man roster who isn't up, I would say he's unlikely to make the playoff roster.

is rucinski going to get a start or two before the playoffs.  I'd like to see what we have with that guy, he's done really well in AA this year and he's already almost 26.  time to give the guy a shot and see what we got
