...the battle between Detroit, KC, the A'ths, and the M's for the other 3 post-season spots.

Only two games separates all 4 teams.

 

Detroit and KC are just 1/2 a game apart in the AL Central.

 

The A'ths are now just 12-24 after starting off 71-44.    This is really a crazy year for them.

With their tanking against Tejas at home, those games against the Phillies and at Tejas are no longer gimmes.

 

David Price has not been David Price nearly often enough for Detroit.

4.09 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 61 innings with Detroit = the Price that Shoemaker far outpitched back in May.

It's sooooo ironic that Drew Smyly (1.70 ERA and 0.76 WHIP in 47 innings) has far outpitched Price since the trade.

Baltimore will let up a little bit after winning the division.  Just like we will.  We are 3 up with 10 to go.  Use today as a give a way game (will be tough to be Felix tonight anyway), rest some guys and sweep Texas, win 4 of final 7 and we will have HFA.

thats really the goal from here of course. HFA

both teams will be resting key people and positioning the rotations so im confident we can pull that out
