I've been an Angels fan too long. When I saw him walking on the top of the dugout drenched in champagne, all I could think was 'oh my god he's going to fall and break something.'

His defense (pitch framing, handling pitchers, etc.) has really emerged this season.

Still makes the occasional WTF error, but he's far superior defensively to where he was 4 years ago when debuting at the MLB level.

 

Now, just continue to work on hitting the ball where it's pitched.

Hank acts like I think most of us think we would act if we were on the Angels...dude absolutely loves playing and being part of the team.

 

 

When I was back at a family function my uncle asked me about Hank Conger...apparently my cousin has some friends who watched Hank Conger in the Little League World Series and they started following his career. They are seriously Hank Conger groupies...they've gone to games to see him play...they sit in the bullpen to try and talk to him. My uncle says they are trying to meet him but they've kind of weirded him out because he can't figure out why these twenty somethings from Illinois are his groupies.

I zaid it on here a hile back. I think hank is a good clubhouse guy. You see him in interviews and how he acts with the fans, and i get the feeling hes like that all day long with the other guys on the team.

We knock him on here because he still has some work to do with his hitting, but hes come a long way with his defense, and aside feom aybar is pretty entertaining. The trip up on that bunt and the walk off hit by pitch were all the better because it was him.

I love Hank Conger, would give him full time catcher if I was Skip. Doesn't matter to me what anybody says about him.

I also got his beer can after he tossed it right at me. Most of the beer got all over me. Was really sad it was Bud Light later on.
