Pricing is ridiculous:

Upper View $31

Upper View All Star/MVP $41

Lower View Box $36

Lower View All Star $41

Lower View MVP $51

Left Field Pavilion $56

Right Field MVP $51

Right Field Pavilion $41

Good luck selling out the stadium at those prices.

are you kidding? those are pretty good considering its the Post Season

i have talked to fans of other teams and their ticket prices for post season are double that

The prices are about the same as a "Premium" Weekend game against the Yankees or a Bobblehead Giveaway.

The first 2 rounds are pretty reasonable to me. World Series is where it gets insane

Keep in mind. The Angels do not decide the pricing at all. Playoffs are an MLB event not an event hosted by the Angels like a regular season game.

Angels decide pricing for single game ALDS and ALCS (MLB sets STH pricing which is reasonable for the 1st round).  Prices from the Angels much cheaper in the 2009 ALDS (about 25%).  Also keep in mind in 2009 our opponents were the Yanks and Sox.  Back in the day I got 4 tickets to game 5 of the ALCS vs the White Sox for one dollar on ebay. No good opponent equals not enough demand at these prices especially when the Friday game is likely to be a 1pm start.  I expect to go to game 2 for $15 if the Friday game is indeed a 1pm start.

Just wait and see how many tickets are still available the day after the public sale.

Oh and what teams are double that?  There is not 1 single team in the MLB who has DS prices double the prices I have listed above for similar sections in their stadiums.

I don't see the Friday game starting at 1pm when there will be two games most likely starting in Baltimore and Washington DC.

I could see it starting at 4:30 though. If the Dodgers and Giants play each other, the Angels might get pushed to an 8pm start. MLB would probably want the Dodgers and Giants game to start earlier since it's a big time rivalry and allows the east coast to tune in.

Yes they are reasonable as a STH, which you are.

Cheap.

I'm pretty sure the only break SSH get on Postseason tickets are the TM fees. We only have to pay a $5 per ticket fee. The base price is the same.

False: ex, RF MVP STH cost $25 +$5 fee = $30.  TM base $45 +$6 TM fee = $51

I Remember '09, at least for the full SSH strips, being pretty much the same prices as this year.

Yes, full SSH pricing seems very similar.  Like I said I think the SSH pricing is very reasonable.  The reason I rail on the single game pricing is I just like seeing a full stadium, not this half empty bullshit we have been seeing even though our team is in 1st place.

Possible...my guess is Baltimore and Angels are 1pm local times (making the Balt 10am pst) and that Nats and Dodgers are 7pm local times (making Nats 4pm pst).

Well damn, didn't even notice that. That's a pretty big jump but I still don't see the prices as unreasonable. I think the only way they have issues filling up is if it's a day game during the week.

I'm not sure if they still do it, but it used to be set up so the team with the best record in each league got to pick which of the two division series they wanted. Back then there used to be a day off in between game 1 and 2 but it's possible they still allow them to pick if they want a night start or day start. Back when the Angels were in the playoffs, from what I remember, they never had day games at the Big A except for game 5 of the ALCS in 2009.

For what its worth. I tried to see if I can buy tickets to the presale and it says "We're sorry, there are no more tickets available for this promotion." Maybe it's a glitch when they switched over to mini plans/2015 deposits. I was able to buy tickets at 9am if I wanted. I didn't buy any extras at all.

I know they don't make all the empty seats available for presales though.

I can't see why anyone would complain about these prices. Its not like it is $100 to go see the game, you can get two seats to a PLAYOFF game for that price. Bob, the reason you are seeing a half empty stadium is the heat wave. I was there two weeks ago, before it got this hot, and it was a night game, it was still unbearable and I have seats in the 200 section in the shade. If there is one thing So Cal likes it is a winning team. We will be selling out the stadium for the playoffs, don't worry. Oh and if we don't it is because they start a game at 1pm, which is very challenging for most working people to get too.

Chimi - These prices are very close to 2009.  I have 2009 LV MVP for $55 and they are $51 now.  The question is how many seats are available and are there any decent locations.  Back before the postseason drought started I attended many LDS and LCS games and they were generally easy to get tickets for.  I agree that the less than capacity crowds are a bummer.
