2 games do not make for an "obvious" scenario, but whatever floats your boat. bear in mind that the angels backed into hfa over the last several games.

The Angels have had a better record than the Orioles for months. I don't know how that's backing into the HFA.

the notion of "backing in" is ridiculous.  Teams play 162 games and are awarded based on the results of the entire schedule.
