Apparently to everyone here it doesn't matter if we have him in the post season. Most people don't want to see him on the field. Sorry but I think if we have a shot at making it to the WS Hamilton needs to play and needs to bring his P.S experience. Wilson on the other hand...

This is a very, very nice run, but against two teams who are last in their divisions, and the other second to last.  And this followed 4 wins against Oakland, who were obviously in a nose dive.  The playoffs will be completely different.  We need all hands on deck especially veterans, and including Hamilton.  I think it's great we get someone like Iwakuma on Monday night, let's try to hit like this against quality pitching.  Seattle will be desperate for wins next week, that will be a good test of where we really are.  I see no reason to celebrate Hamilton missing any more playing time.

If he does miss much more time I think it will start to become very difficult to get any type of hitting timing down before the playoffs however.

We are still very thin on starters, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Weaver, Shoemaker and Santiago stay healthy for a few more weeks.

Wow.  Absolutely no love for the man whose bat kept us alive in April and gave us a chance at catching the A's.  I hope for a quick and speedy return.

Hamilton since the ASB, .226 BA, .660 OPS. 5 HR, 18 RBI

Sure, let's put Vernon Wells back into the cleanup spot in the postseason. That's surely a winning move.

"Nothing encouraging" is relative.  Based on his performance after the ASB, I think it is encouraging.

Take the rest of the season off and hang out with CJ during the playoffs.  You both can reminisce about the time you almost won.

How disappointing has he been at home since we signed him?
