Jimmy Paredes hit a pinch-hit 2-run double with two outs in the bottom of the 11th inning and Baltimore defeated the Yankees, 2-1. It was a scoreless game until the 11th.

 

Yankees are on life support.

I actually saw somebody on ESPN say the O's were the best team in baseball for "having the toughest schedule in baseball" and I got a nice giggle out of that.

The Dodgers lost more than just the game last night when Hyun-Jin Ryu left with a shoulder injury, the same type that sidelined him for three weeks earlier this season.

And to think we drafted him out of HS, but you never know if those guys truly want to attend college or not. That plus he was a 50th round pick, and thus worlds better by the time the Giants drafted him out of Free Shoes U.

He did, and the Giants say thank you every day for that.
