Proving premeditation was always going to be difficult considering the only other real witness is dead. The prosecution portraying him as a utter idiot when it comes to guns actually seemed to play into the "he was a dumbass" story the defense was trying to sell.

Sadly, on the news today, they were talking about how much time that he would serve.  And the experts said probably none, and one of the reasons they listed was because he had no feet, and it would constitute cruel punishment or some bs.

So he saw a locked bathroom door in the house he shared with his girlfriend and just decided to open fire without saying anything. WHAT A COMPLETELY BELIEVABLE STORY.
