Yes. He has playoff experience and he has performed well under pressure. But if he doesn't get hot quick, need to be prepared to drop him down in the order. Either way he needs to be on the field for the playoffs.

Pujols

Kendrick

Iannetta (high OBP and some pop)

Hamilton

Freese (history of good October hitting)

Cron

Aybar

When Conger catches, bat him 8th and move up Hamilton, Freese, and Cron one spot each.

Whatever is going on with Hamilton, he has had the whole season to try and figure it out. Playoff time is not the time to try and figure things out. You go with what got you there. Shut him down and let the adjustments start.

Absolutely not. We're doing great without him. He has had almost two seasons to prove he is worthy of being in the 4 spot and has been, at best, mediocre.

The Angels version of Hamilton has always deserved the 5 or 6 or 7 hole IMO.

In 3 weeks if he's had time to come back and get some ABs, and Howie has fallen back to earth? Absolutely.
