He did have a .950 OPS in 2000.  

 

By the way he had a .863 OPS in the 2002 postseason run.  Lets see what Trout does first in October before you start throwing up in your mouth.

too bad we're not all stars at every position like all those other teams

Look at some of the other AL teams lineups.  Tigers have 2 dominant (but old and slow) hitters, and crap.  Orioles have some pop, and then crap.  Royals just have some decent players and then crap.

 

Yeah thats my expert analysis.

We're much deeper than the Tigers/Orioles/Brewers -- I'll take our offense over any of those 3 in a heartbeat.
