#Angels have designated INF Ryan Wheeler for assignment to make room for RHP Jairo Diaz on 40-man roster.

The Magnificent Seven + Pestano and an improving Bedrock Jr. (better command lately) = dominant pen.

Only question is will Thatcher find his way onto the October roster?    His work before the injury was not encouraging, to say the least.

Due to the nature of the score and the situation, it was fun to watch a guy throwing 100 with no clue where the ball was going to go.

Diaz is legit. I think he'll have a career arc similar to that of Jordan Walden, who also failed at SP, threw 100 and found success after some early bumps.

You'll have to look far and wide to find a RP with better stuff than Diaz. Now he just needs to harness it.
