Its obvious how much we lacked pitching wise, and what a difference a bullpen makes.

 

 

Angels record before Grilli made his first appearance: 44-34

 

Since Grilli's first apperance: 44-21

 

 

Still a solid team prior, but we've been a juggernaut since Frieri left. Just amazing how much of a difference shoring up the bullpen has been

^yeah. The bullpen isnt solid. It isnt good. Its freakin shutdown. The best part (imo) isnt the individual performances, its the depth. When one guy needs a break theres an option B, and almost a C. Its been HUGE. If pestano regains his peak and backs grilli as the 7th inning guy, holy smokes....

Crazy stat about grilli. And frieri is unemployed.....
