Iannetta continues to rake

clutch hit by trout

i know "close" only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades but at least we have been in every game

Actually it's horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons but point made and taken.

Black is still coaching the Padres, LaRussa is retired, Salmon and Erstad...don't you think they'd be a bit green as all-out managers?

The same was said of Robin Ventura. Or of Mike Scioscia once upon a time.

We'll see what happens this year with the "green" Walt Weiss and Mike Redmond (if the Marlins win more than 65 games, he'll look REALLY good).

Last year at this time both our wins and losses had much higher run differentials.  This season it's been losses by only one run.  Once our MOTOs wake up, watch out.

Last year we were losing to the likes of the Royals and Twins. Bleh.

Round Table for me.

Do they have MOJOS??

Yeah, but Ventura has only had one year. Let's give him 5 in order to determine his true worth. Erstad would be interesting though if we went green.

Holding the Rangers to 3 runs in Arlington is quite a feat.

Vargas and the bullpen (with the exception of the one that shall remain un-named in this thread) looked good again.

The Angels have to play better, and need to start now. Vergas looked good, and that is a plus
