Hamilton will go through stretches where you ask yourself if the guy is even trying then BAM he goes on a 3 week run where anything close is getting hammered. His biggest problem is he seems to sweat all the small stuff which is why some of his cold streaks last a little longer than you'd like

HArd to be surprised when we saw him do this last year vs the Halos and we laughed at him swinging at everything. If this is going to continue all year, he'll have a tough time maintaining a solid BA because of how often he whiffs.

Did he swing at EVERY pitch he saw today? I

He saw 10 pitches today.

Took 1 for a strike, one for a ball, fouled off 3 balls, swung and missed 3 balls and put 2 in play for outs.

Just terrible.

The early argument is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. People were saying the same shit last year. Every game means just as much whether it's the first game in April or the last game in September.

The best way to describe this team is just dead. Everyone looks like they would rather be somewhere else.

Last year? Try the past three years. We all found out just how important April isn't as it turned out to be a big reason the team came up short qualifying for postseason. As far as dead? I don't think that is the case, but something is going to have to happen, I hope it is tomorrow, I feel pretty optimistic, for some reason, about Hanson's start.

I dont think that's true of the pitching or anyone outside of our 1-4 hitters. When I saw Hamilton walk into the dugout after striking out in his fourth AB with a smile, it made me think the crowd got to him, though.
