As expected, Josh Hamilton was out of the lineup on Friday because of lingering soreness in his right AC joint. He exited Thursday's 5-4 win in the middle of the eighth inning and received a cortisone shot following the game. He felt "a lot better" by Friday, manager Mike Scioscia said, and is expected to return "in the next day or two."
