On the bright side.  They only used 2 pitchers.  /doh

Looks really odd to look at the scoreboard and see no runs on 25 hits. Would have been something if Sotoku had tied the game in the bottom of the inning after Chukyo scored.

 

Can't imagine losing a game like that. Your pitching staff gives up no runs in 49 innings and you still lose.

I think you mean pitcher.  There was no staff, and some would say including coaching.

I'm surprised it wasn't higher-scoring!  It looks like they were using a super-ball;  in the first minute the second baseman flips it to the shortstop who wasn't ready to catch it, and it took THREE high bounces off the dirt..

 

I was more surprised at how many fans were still coming-out to the game, tho I guess the novelty of it was a draw.
