[Inside Pitch]

It's sort of funny..  We all heard the talk about a rift between MS and JD here at home, not it seems everyone except Oakland has some sort of drama going on according to media reports.

 

Seattle had Eric Wedge and Tony Blengino tear apart Jack Z last off season, then Jack Z tore into Jesus Montero in ST for showing up fat.  Now Montero went after one of the Mariners' national cross-checkers after the guy heckled him and sent him Ice cream sandwiches to the dugout and mocked him by telling him to move faster in Spanish while he was coaching 1B on a rehab assignment.  To quote one of their marketing campaigns, "Sodo Mojo".

 

Texas had the Ryan/Daniels spat, and now their two principle owners aren't speaking to each other over what is being termed as philosophical differences   Makes you wonder how they approach the off-season when the two guys who have to sign off on the checks aren't on the same page.

 

Down in Houston are reporting the manager went to the owner to complain about the GM and players are still steamed over the whole Appel promotion thing.  Not that he has any time to actually address anything since Crane is still trying to find people to sue after his TV deal blew up in his face.  The 2017 WS Champs are already bickering and nobody and that's without taking into consideration how poorly some of their young bats have looked in their first taste of MLB.  

 

Props to the A's, they are pretty much universally on the same page..  they are united in their disdain for the light wave.

Seattle comedy aside, it's interesting how winning squelches all the complaints.
