GBV is one of my favorite bands of all-time. I've seen them live a ton of times. The most memorable was when I saw them on the Under the Bushes Tour back in '96 and my friends and I hung out with Bob Pollard after the show in the parking lot of the Roxy. Cool guy. We sat and talked about music and drank beer for an hour or so while the crew was packing up all their gear. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

Bee Thousand is one of my favorite albums. Admittedly, I've only listened to like three of their albums and have enjoyed one greatly, but I know they have a ton more, just never explored further. But yeah, I love me some GBV.
