cinci is a very tough team.  all crazy close games that could have gone in either direction.  If we have a .333 win % in one run games thru July, then I will worry.  Otherwise, The team has been about what we've thought and the offense will heat up at some point.  Honestly, losing a series like this is not a big deal to me.

The bad D really cost them in this series. I don't expect that to continue with the guys they have out there

Bullpen was awesome again.

Trout got on base, Pujols and Hamilton drove in runs, even Trumbo did a good thing.

Offense and defense shouldn't be this shaky long term. Especially with Trumbo mostly not playing the OF, which was pretty ugly.

This. No blowouts, nothing too alarming. Pitching was solid overall. Hitters will heat up.

I honestly get the feeling that Blanton will be one of those guys that's just built for Angel Stadium.  A homerun friendly pitcher in a homerun friendly park is recipe for disaster.  But Blanton at home, in a pitcher's park, with Trout in LF, Bourjos in CF and Hamilton in RF.....

I get the feeling we'll see a lot more 6 IP 3ER gamed from Joe Blanton than today's line which was 5 IP 5R.

I don't consider Angel stadium a pitchers park or a HR park. Safeco is or was a pitchers park.
