Since the All-Star break:

Leadoff man with a .298 OBP

2nd hitter 31 K's in 23 games

3rd hitter 9 RBI's in 23 games

Cleanup hitter 32 K's & 4 BB's in 22 games

5th hitter .469 OPS!!!

6th hitter 4 RBI's in 23 games

7th hitter Please let this guy wear his Bees uniform

8th hitter 26K's in 22 games

9th hitter 19 K's in 18 games

Not one guy in the lineup hitting over .260 since ASB

4 guys averaging over a strikeout a game. 2 others averaging over .75 K's a game.

They're going to break out of this eventually (hopefully they get a normal Jerome tonight), but this is brutal.

Freese is doing pretty well since July 1, and still hitting 8th, while Aybar is doing very poorly since July 1 and still hitting 5th.

SMH at Scioscia

Freese has a .307 OBP and a .665 OPS in his last 20 games. He had that decent streak in the first half of July, but his recent performance is pretty similar to what we saw earlier in the season. I'm fine with him where he is...or, you know, on the bench. If I'm moving anyone up it's Iannetta.

When you hit rock bottom there is only one way to go.
