These guys have been pretty outstanding for a bit now. The offense will wake up eventually, and we'll get right again.

In a way the offense shitting is the good news. Thats the one area where we should have the most confidance to rebound.

Once calhoun and trout get on the same page again, and 2 orhers (pujols, howie, aybar, whoever) get back to norm, we're in business.

In comparison to the previous five seasons this pen is about as airtight as can be. You would have to go back to pre-Fuentes with Shields as the set-up man to say there was a better group.

And the Angels keep rotating guys in from the minors that have done the job without any real meltdowns like the start of the season. If only we could rotate in an offense.
